Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) Application to Serve on the RACC Board of Directors

We are excited to announce a call for applications to serve on the Board of Directors for the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC). The Board is the governing body of RACC and is responsible for the oversight and administration of the organization, as well as the validity of its Certified Research Administrator (CRA®️), Certified Pre-award Research Administrator (CPRA®️), and Certified Financial Research Administrator (CFRA) examinations.

We seek committed board members who are passionate about contributing to the research administration field in a positive and substantive way! We seek candidates who are ready and willing to volunteer and dedicate their time and talents to the RACC Board of Directors.

To serve, one must be:

  • A Certified Research Administrator (CRA), Certified Pre-award Research Administrator (CPRA) or Certified Financial Research Administrator (CFRA) and maintain the credential throughout the term of service.

  • Actively involved in research administration throughout the term of service.

  • Able to attend two meetings of the Board each year. RACC will pay your travel costs (according to our travel reimbursement policy) for these meetings.

  • Able to meet by conference call or Zoom, when needed.

  • Able to sign and agree to the RACC Board Code of Ethics, Non-Disclosure Statement, and Conflict of Interest Statement.

  • Able to agree, abide by, and uphold RACC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy.
